Frequently Asked Questions
What is Buccal Massage?
Buccal Massage is a specialized technique that addresses the muscles of the face both inside and outside of the mouth. By accessing facial muscles inside the mouth that cannot be reached with external techniques, buccal massage can help reduce muscle tension, create space, improve mobility of the jaw and facial muscles, and encourage healthy blood flow.
Buccal Massage is not a medical treatment, but rather a skilled service that supports relaxation, promotes healthy muscle function, and encourages facial balance and restoration.
Is Buccal Massage safe?
Yes, buccal massage is performed using proper sanitation protocols, including the use of medical-grade gloves during the intraoral portion of the session. Your comfort and safety are a priority throughout the session.
Is Buccal Massage painful?
Most clients find the buccal massage comfortable and relaxing. Areas of muscle tension or tightness may feel tender or a little intense during the session, but pressure is always adjusted to your comfort level. Communication is encouraged throughout the session.
